Generate fabrics using Marvelous Designer
This introductory course for Marvelous Designer will go into detail about most of the tools and different techniques used to create clothing for game development. This course will start with going over the basic user interface, creating some simple fabric objects, and then transitioning into full clothing for male and female avatars. The course will also demonstrate how to export and clean the models inside of Zbrush and Maya. Finally, you’ll get a quick overview for creating different clothing folds from adding animation inside of Marvelous Designer.

Lectures by John Gotch
John Gotch is a Senior Character Artist living in Lake Forest, CA. In 2005, he graduated with dual Bachelor degrees from Pennsylvania State University. With over 10 years of experience in the game industry, he has worked at Kojima Productions L.A., Molten Games, Trion Worlds, and EA Mythic. Working on titles such as Evolve, Metal Gear Online, Blunderbuss, Defiance, and Warhammer Online. He also enjoys creating art and small game projects at home. John currently works at Turtle Rock Studios working on Evolve and future projects.
