The Art Of Color And Light

Chris Brock is an art director at DreamWorks Animation and is currently working on “Boss Baby 2”. Prior to that he worked as a visual development artist on “Abominable”. Since 2006, Chris has been instrumental in the design and look of many of DreamWorks films such as Kung Fu Panda films 1,2 and 3, Boss Baby, Monsters Vs. Aliens, and Flushed Away. Prior to that Chris worked as a Background Painter on many other projects at Warner Brothers, Cartoon Network, DreamWorks and Disneytoon Studios including, “The Iron Giant”, “Samurai Jack”, “The Road to El Dorado and “Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas”. Chris studied Illustration at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA.

Anastasia is a freelance background painter, concept artist and illustrator passionate about environments, colour and light. During her career she has created art for computer games, projection mapping shows and animation, and is currently working as a Lead DMP Artist at Axis Studios where she has contributed to creation of multiple cinematics for Riot Games as a background artist and a 2D DMP team lead. Anastasia has also been working as a fundamentals teacher and mentor alongside her professional freelance work.

Matt Sanz is a Visual Development Artist for Games and Animation! He’s have worked for several companies large and small and understands the pipelines and workflows of a variety of studio environments, working for companies such as IGG, Terrible Posture, The Gate Films, Amazon Games, Pencilmation and many more! He has also been a Art Consultant for several companies. Currently he is working as a Lead Visual development artist for a unannounced project. Matt absolutely adores his job and the industry and have met some of his best friends doing what he loves.
